Norfolk Botanical Garden/Metro Productions
I had the pleasure of working alongside Metro Productions while this beautiful video was created. I served as the representative of the Garden's side of the project. I assisted with research, script writing and editing, choosing a narrator, site selection and props. I also recruited volunteers to work as extras, coordinated shooting on location and oversaw production.
This is the intro segment to the 2004 WAVY TV-10 tax special, "Tax Tips: Don't dread the deadline." As the producer of the project, I researched, conducted interviews, wrote and edited scripts, oversaw shooting and editing of video, and coordinated all recorded and live elements of the program in preparation for the show and while on air.
This 3-hour special originally aired on WAVY TV-10 after Hurricane Isabel ravaged the region in 2003. This project served as a way to bring stories from the storm to those who had been without power immediately following the hurricane. Additionally, sales of the DVD raised close to $500,000 for the American Red Cross. Working as a co-producer, I assisted with story selection, wrote and edited scripts, oversaw video editing, communicated with my co-producer, news director, photographers, reporters and anchors to keep production on schedule, and made sure all components ran smoothly and on time while on air.
This video is the first part of a series from "The Ultimate Yard Makeover." I traveled with Lance Walheim, Bayer Advanced garden expert, to the winners' home in Montana, where I oversaw and coordinated all aspects of production on location.
This video is one in a series of online how-to videos for Bayer Advanced. I was the main point of contact for the script writer, served as his editor for the series, assisted in acquiring and displaying props, participated in and secured site selected for shooting, coordinated on location and ensured the project stayed on time and on target.
Home Wizards Radio with Cindy Dole and Eric Stromer
This radio interview is one of several with Bayer Advanced garden expert Lance Walheim from the 2012 Rose Parade route. I setup and secured each interview, provided topic ideas, coordinated scheduling and served as the main point of contact between Lance and the show's hosts.
